my pillars
I’m Emma and I love flowers (a truly shocking statement for a florist, I know).
But more than that, I believe in flowers. Flowers tell stories — of love, celebration, comfort, and joy. They are not simply décor; they are emotion made visible. And that belief is what guides every design I create.
Who knew that working toward my degree in Hospitality Management would lead me here? Somewhere between studying event logistics, curating guest experiences, and discovering the art of bringing a vision to life, I fell completely in love with the world of events — and even more deeply in love with the florals that make them unforgettable.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Missouri–Columbia with an emphasis in Event Planning and a minor in Floral Design, and I’ve spent the past eight years growing in this industry. From floral design classes and certifications, working full time as a wholesale flower buyer and salesperson, to traveling to Ecuador and experiencing firsthand where so many of our blooms begin and the sustainability efforts each farm takes to ensure our Earth is taken care of. Each chapter has shaped the heart-forward, detail-focused, environmentally-friendly approach I bring to my work today.
My style is rooted in organic movement and guided by emotion, always with the intention of creating pieces that feel like small works of art—pieces that belong to you and your story.
Whether I’m designing for a wedding, curating your perfect event vision, or creating something just because, my process is grounded in care, craft, and the belief that flowers have the power to transform a moment.
If you think of a truly memorable event, you cannot envision it without the florals.
Let’s chat and make yours the most memorable of all.
Client Focus - my clients are my partners. We conceptualize & communicate, we adjust & reimagine, and we curate their event together. Their success & happiness IS my success & happiness.
Sustainability - we have one just the one planet as home. It is essential to always keep environmental concerns at the forefront of the mind while working in an industry that isn’t the kindest when it comes to waste.
My attempt to lessen my footprint:
Purchase as many in-season blooms possible
Source product from local markets unless absolutely necessary
Partner and support farms across the globe who follow proven sustainability practices
Positivity - I will be your hype woman, your comfort, and your voice of reason. You can tell the difference when someone truly enjoys their career & let me tell you, I live and breathe this shit
